I am enjoying doing nothing. Gives me time to read, sleep and get depressed as much as I want. It won’t last long either so while looking for a cheap place to move to NY, I am also reading Peter Bergen’s ” The Osama bin Laden I know : An Oral History of al Qaeda’s Leader”.

Its an amazing read narrating accounts from friends and family of bin Laden. The writer tries to understand what makes Bin Landen fight for his cause. It tires to go beyond what the mainstream media paints of Bin Laden as mere fundamentalist whose desire is to kill non-Muslims. It deconstructs various myths related with alQaeda and its leaders. So far, Osama comes of as a dedicated charismatic  leader who is willing to do whatever it takes to get to his destination.

The book features accounts from early childhood friends, teachers, relatives, religious leaders ..etc. I am enjoying it and hope it makes your list too.
